Xiaomi Mi Max: 6.44 Inch Phablet And Revised Miui Os For China

The new Xiaomi Phablet MI Max could succeed with a screen diagonal of 6.44 inches Sony’s Xperia Z ultra as the largest smartphone on the market. It is however unlikely that the device comes to Germany.

The Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has announced on Tuesday with the MI Max a new Phablet for the Chinese market. The large Smartphone offers similar to Sony’s Xperia Z a screen diagonal of 6.44 inches ultra from the year 2013. With 7.5 mm it is but thicker than the competitor. The display resolution is both devices 1920 × 1080 pixels.

Entry-level price for MI Max at 200 euro

The MI Max to next week in China in three different versions appear. The version with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory and Snapdragon 650 costs therefore 1,499 RMB (around 200 euros). The second version also has 3 GB RAM, is equipped but with the Snapdragon memory 652 and 64 GByte. She beats with 1,699 RMB (about 230 euros) to beech. The most expensive with 1.999 RMB (around 270 euros) version offers thus 4 GB RAM, 128 GB can also choose memory and also a Snapdragon 652 buyer between the colors of silver, gold and dark grey.

Additional features of Phablets include a 16-Megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel lens with 85 degree wide angle on the front. Xiaomi revised MIUI OS

The release of MI Max Xiaomi with MIUI 8 also published a revised version of its mobile operating system Android 6.0 based on Marshmallow. MIUI 8 offers a completely new color set and new fonts. Xiaomi design dispenses with impact shadow and co., which the Panel overall flatter works. New features include an app to solve mathematical problems and a QR code scanner.
